Firefighters are at the scene of an explosion at a grain elevator in Brodhead. The Brodhead Fire Department said the explosion happened at 11:15 a.m. at Farm-City Elevator on County Road T. Crews are still on the scene and the cause is not known. Crews arrived on scene and asked for a ladder truck from the Monroe Fire Department, officials said. Firefighters put out a few smoldering hot spots. No injuries were reported.
