A fire in an attached garage at a home on the city's Far East Side caused an estimated $150,000 in damage, with nobody hurt in the blaze. The fire was reported at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Inwood Way, the Madison Fire Department said. "Several people called 911 after they noticed their neighbor's garage was on fire," said spokeswoman Bernadette Galvez. One neighbor knocked on the front door of the residence to warn the occupants, and two people and a dog safely evacuated the home.
