One person was flown to a hospital after being burned in a tractor fire Thursday night in Stevens Point. The fire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. near Windy Drive, according to Stevens Point Fire Capt. J.B. Moody. The tractor was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, but the fire was extinguished quickly. The man who was using the tractor was flown to a hospital in Madison, but the extent of his injuries wasn’t immediately known, Moody said. Nobody else was hurt in the fire.
