The Western Lakes Fire District responded for a school bus versus bicycle accident on North Main Street in Dousman just before 7:00 Thursday morning. A boy was riding his bike on North Main Street on the the sidewalk when he crossed Main Street and was hit by the school bus. Emergency officials were able to free the bicyclist who was trapped and take him to a local hospital in critical condition. The school bus was carrying high school students. According to Village of Summit Police, the bicyclist was a 12-year-old boy.
