A Bayliner boat was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon while docked at a pier at a boat launch on Lake Kegonsa, with the boat owner getting burned in the blaze. The fire was reported at about 5:50 p.m. at the Fish Camp County Park boat launch on the north side of the lake, the Dane County Sheriff's Office said. The 33-year-old boat owner suffered burns to his hand and lower arms as well as smoke inhalation, and was taken to a local hospital. According to the investigation, the 1990 Bayliner was tied to the pier at the boat launch when it caught fire.
