Authorities in Milwaukee are treating multiple early-morning fires on the city's south side as possible arson. The fire department received reports of at least eight trash fires between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Some of those fires spread to nearby homes, garages and parked vehicles. Many of the reports were along Orchard Street, Lapham Boulevard and Hayes Avenue. Others were on 20th Street, 25th Street and 30th Street. Some of the worst damage appears to be near 20th and Mitchell.
