For years, Jerry Jacobson has been taking the self-guided sculpture tour in Eau Claire. But it wasn’t until this year that the Northwestern Bank president saw a work of art that was perfectly suited for a special spot in Chippewa Falls. Mike Hepfler, Chippewa Falls Fire and Emergency Services chief agrees, and now the statue will have a permanent home in the newly opened Fire Station No. 1 on Chippewa Crossing Boulevard.
