The first of what could be five Kenosha County communities has approved a cooperative agreement to study possible consolidation of fire and rescue services. The Bristol Village Board Monday approved its participation in a study of whether sharing services or consolidating departments could improve efficiency, provide a higher level of service and save money. “It is an efficiency study to see if there is a way to work together in the future to provide good service and save some money,” said Bristol Administrator Randy Kerkman, who has led the effort. “It is going to look at everything.”
