A Sunday morning fishing trip turned into a tense emergency rescue after a boat overturned in Port Washington. Fire crews responded to the city department’s first water rescue of the year, and it came with some challenges. Scores of dive crew members with Port Washington Fire and the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department worked to bring the boaters back to safety. All three men rescued walked away on their own, but not before their 17 foot fishing boat overturned about two miles east from Port Washington.
