Luke Anderson was excited after trying out a water rescue suit on the ice of Glen Loch, just north of Chippewa Falls. “This is wonderful,” he said of one of three wet suits purchased by the Town of Eagle Point Fire Department with a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. “Awesome. You don’t even feel the cold water on you,” said Anderson, who is a volunteer for both the Eagle Point and Town of Tilden departments. Anderson got his first experience with ice/water rescue on Saturday in a training exercise with an instructor from the Chippewa Valley Technical College.
