A rural Milton home is a total loss after a fire Sunday afternoon, Milton Fire Chief Chris Lukas said. Homeowner Walter Isaacson at 3:50 p.m. Sunday reported the fire at 7207 E. Bowers Lake Road to the Rock County Communications Center, Lukas said. Isaacson and his wife were out of the house when firefighters arrived, but two of the family cats still had not been found, Lukas said. Firefighters returned to the scene Monday and were still working to determine the cause Monday afternoon, Lucas said.
