House Captain Daniel Radandt, 55, of Station 7 of the Kenosha Fire Department, has been a hockey goalie for more than 40 years. He learned the sport as a child and continues to play competitive hockey in Kenosha. Q. How did you get into hockey? A. It was at age 8. My dad made a rink on a pond. We used to live on KR and Highway 31. He plowed the pond with his Jeep, and then he put up boards. He made makeshift goals. He put me and my bother in pads, and we were the goalies.
