Multiple fire departments were called out early Friday morning to battle a blaze that destroyed a barn and pole shed in Fond du Lac County. The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. at W9135 Lincoln Road, Rickland Farms, Inc., owned by Gregory and Laura Rickland. An 18,000- square-foot barn and attached pole shed were destroyed. The barn also housed numerous dairy cows and it is unknown at this time how many, if any of the dairy cows perished in the fire, says a press release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.
