As the NCAA basketball tournament draws to a close, the Waukesha police and fire departments are gearing up for their own championship of sorts. But they're not playing for a trophy – they're playing for charity. Members from both departments will clash in the seventh annual Waukesha Police and Firefighter Basketball Challenge at 7 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Catholic Memorial High School, 601 E. College Ave. Tickets are $5 at the door, and the proceeds will go to the winning team's charity of choice.
