VIDEO: A Wausau family is safe after a late night fire caused significant damage to their home. Wausau Fire Marshal Dave DeSantis said the reason everyone made it out OK is because the family had a fire evacuation plan. "By the grace of God we do not have a fatality today, or any injuries, after the fire last night. The fact that the owners had working smoke detectors, they had a plan. They knew to get out of the house and call us right away," DeSantis explained. The fire was reported around 10:50 p.m. Sunday night on Pine Street in Wausau.
