Firefighters go through a lot of training in school, including the first year after they're hired. Rhinelander firefighters go through a probationary period before they are fully inducted into the fire department. Justin Feaker finished his probationary period and was sworn into the fire department at City Hall Tuesday morning. "It seemed like an exciting career choice. You get to serve the community and help people who really need it. We get called to help people on their worst days and we get to make it a little bit better, that's very rewarding," said Feaker. Chief Deputy Josh Schmitz says working with Feaker the past year has been rewarding.
