VIDEO: A special welcome home ceremony was held for a Fond du Lac firefighter Monday. Master Sergeant, Shawn Kneeland, returned home last month after his fourth active military-duty deployment. He is a part of the Wisconsin Air National Guard, 115th fighter wing, based in Madison. He was deployed in January and went to places like Mosul, Iraq and Syria.
Kneeland says his mission was to open up new bases in those areas. He says he is grateful for the community support, "When we come back, it makes us feel like the mission that we are doing is well worth it. Having everyone come out and show their support really makes the transition a lot easier."
