On Wednesday, Oct. 25, Waupun will see the most recent collaborative effort between the Waupun police and fire departments, as well as Waupun Memorial Hospital, Lifestar EMS and Flight For Life as they conduct a mass casualty functional exercise that evening. This team will gather from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Waupun Fire Department, 16 E. Main St., to complete a tabletop exercise in preparation for the “live” event Wednesday night. The live event is expected to begin at 6:30and run until completed. “We are bringing together local key leaders who would help to coordinate an incident, ensuring that all appropriate resources are directed to those responding to a particular disaster,” says Lt. Joe Pfalzgraf, Waupun Police Department.
