Oshkosh firefighters have some new equipment. A $7,000 grant has allowed the department to purchase new life vests for ice and water rescues. Oshkosh Fire's John Holland says they've wanted the vests for the last 20 years. "Obviously, being Oshkosh, we are surrounded by water, so it's very important that we have the right equipment. They will help the people that we are rescuing, as well as keeping our firefighters, safe." The grant was awarded by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
