Nine people were displaced Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in a duplex on Madison’s far east side, officials said. Officials were called to 6615 Radford Drive around 10:45 a.m. for reports of an active structure fire, officials said. Officials said five adults and four children were displaced from two units. Officials at the scene said no one was injured in the fire. The Red Cross is assisting one of the families. Fire Chief Steven Davis told News 3 the response time was very quick with the newest fire station, Fire Station 13, responding.
