VIDEO: A man who police said killed his wife and blew up his home made his first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon in Dane County. The Dane County District Attorney's Office found probable cause to move forward with charging Steven Pirus, 59, of 1st degree homicide, arson, and reckless endangerment because of a Probable Cause Affidavit from investigators. According to the affidavit, Steven Pirus told police that sometime between July 30th-August 12th he shot Lee Anne in the head with a firearm in their home on Stratton Way. Pirus told police that Lee Anne asked him to kill her.
