VIDEO: It's a skill they hope they never have to use, but Tuesday firefighters from the Marshfield area learned how to properly remove victims, in the case of a school bus crash. Using a real bus at Shaw's Wrecking Yard, crews will continue to practice their techniques through Thursday. “It gives the crew a better opportunity, a better understanding of where their access points are, what they have to do to stabilize the bus if it's tippy. That's what we're doing here today. It gives them something to think of, in the back of their mind, so if they pull up on a bus accident they know they've done this before, they know what to start looking for," said Deputy Chief Craig DeGrand with the Marshfield Fire Department.
