VIDEO: What started as mysterious phone call ended with an anonymous $20,000 donation to the Wales-Genesee Fire Department. Wales-Genesee Fire Chief Jim Moon took a call in mid-December 2017 from someone asking about donations. "I had gotten a phone call from a gentleman asking me how he could donate to the Wales Fire Department," Moon said. "And then he asked me 'What -- if you could buy anything -- would you buy right now that you don't budget for?'" Moon mentioned to the mystery man that he would buy thermal imaging cameras. But Moon also spoke about their high cost. About a week later, a check for $20,000 came in the mail.
