There are four people in the running to become the city's new fire chief. The Oshkosh Police and Fire Commission selected four finalists after a nationwide search, the city announced Thursday. The commission has set an open house-style meet and greet for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the Oshkosh Convention Center, according to the city. Finalist interviews with community, technical/peer and employee panels are scheduled for April 18. Fire Chief Tim Franz previously announced he will retire later this year.
