VIDEO: Twenty-five cows died in a barn fire in Marathon County, according to authorities. Firefighters were called to the barn on Eau Pleine Road Wednesday afternoon. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the barn. Officials said the blaze may have been sparked by a heater. Crews had to tear down two silos on the property for safety reasons. Crews from Stratford, Edgar, Mosinee, Spencer, were dispatched. The service of the Salvation Army was also requested. Smoke could be seen from miles away, according to a Newsline 9 reporter on scene.
