A Green Bay home caught fire and caused $25,000 worth of damage, on the city's east side, Sunday evening around 5:42. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says smoke and flames were coming from outside the back part of the home at 1376 Doblon Street. The fire burned the side of the home, a portion of the roof and inside the home and into the bathroom area, according to officials. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly and keep it from burning the entire house. Officials say those inside, including their pets got out of the home before the fire department arrived. The department did not say what caused the fire.
