After a vehicle crashed into the University of Wisconsin Credit Union at 3750 University Ave. early Saturday morning, the Madison Fire Department's Heavy Urban Rescue Team found no threat of building collapse. A release said multiple crews were sent to the scene around 1 a.m. Saturday, after the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle crashed. The driver was evaluated by Medic 4. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was found under the influence of alcohol, the release said. Firefighters and paramedics established a safe area around the car and building and disconnected the car's battery.
