New equipment is coming to Wrightstown for firefighters.
It's part of efforts by Wisconsin Public Serivce to recognize emergency response agencies this week.
Firefighters were surprised with the donation of equipment to help rescue people trapped in vehicles.
An assistant fire chief says time matters and the new equipment will help..
Ben Vosters, Wrightstown Assistant Fire Chief, says it's just what they need.
"This is the missing piece to the puzzle. It's going to help assist a lot of other communities too. I think they will be pretty impressed that we were able to get that piece that we talked about getting, but just wasn't in the funds at the time, and this just made that, the whole package, what we were looking for," Vosters said.
