No injuries were reported in connection with a fire in the Town of Sun Prairie that caused $200,000 worth of damage on Dec. 26.Sun Prairie Fire Chief Chris Garrison said at 12:08 p.m., department personnel responded to a reported structure fire in the 2000 block of Manley Drive in the Town of Sun Prairie. Original reports from dispatch stated life safety issues and that all occupants were not out of the structure. Garrison said the First in Command unit reported heavy smoke and fire showing at the residence. First in companies evacuated home occupants and pets. Crews then advanced a line to the rear exterior of the duplex encountering heavy fire and began knock down. The chief said two additional fire crews were deployed to each side of the duplex to put out fire extension from the exterior.
