VIDEO: A Delton firefighter is home tonight and recovering after being hit while at a crash scene on Saturday. After being in critical condition, his family said they're thankful he's alive and hope this sends a strong message about the importance of driving with caution when first responders are trying to do their jobs. It was pretty impressive to show up and get him home," said Chief Darren Jorgenson. "When we first found out about Joe's accident, it was not looking good. He was in very, very bad shape. Four days later it's a celebration we get to bring Joe home."
