Bellevue Fire and Rescue responded to a garage fire, just after 8am Friday. Crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lane Road. Smoke and fire was coming out of the garage when the fire department arrived. A large amount of damage occurred in the attic, and it is believed that is where the fire started. Bellevue Fire and Rescue needed additional help due to the cold and a lack of fire hydrants. Two engines, one rescue truck, a Battalion Chief, Chief and 14 firefighters responded to thecall. The DePere Fire Department responded with one engine, four firefighters and a DutyChief.
