VIDEO: The Pardeeville Fire Department rescued a dog that fell through thin ice Saturday afternoon and the rescue was all caught on camera. Captain Mitch Wendt tells NBC15 that the dog fell into a pond near Highway CM. He believes the dog was chasing something when it fell in and she couldn’t get out. It took about 15 minutes for firefighters to rescue to dog. Thankfully, the dog is going to be okay. Wendt wants to remind the public if something like this happens, call emergency crews and don’t put yourself at risk.
