The incident commander during the Monday night fire at Dolhun Field not far from Lake Tomahawk was Lake Tomahawk's fire chief, Doug Rehm. He said he had that role even though the fire was actually in the town of Woodruff. Rehm said the amount of water used to put the fire out was close to 200,000 gallons. "With my two trucks, they hauled close to 40,000 gallons alone," he said. Rehm said he didn't have an official list compiled but firefighters from Lake Tomahawk, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, Minocqua, Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Sugar Camp, Stella, Hazelhurst, Little Rice, Lac du Flambeau, Newbold, Pelican, Three Lakes and St. Germain were at the scene.
