VIDEO: Two Ladysmith brothers face charges in connection with the theft of more than $14,000 from a Rusk County woman. Stephen Schultz was charged Monday. Gregory Schultz was charged earlier this month. According to the charges, a woman reported a fire happened at her house when she wasn't home last month. The fire chief later told her he removed a file cabinet full of cash from the fire and turned it over to Gregory Schultz, who was at the scene and said he would return it to her. Both brothers initially denied knowing anything about any money, but eventually turned over more than $14,000 in charred money, along with coins and apparent U.S. savings bonds.
