A trailer home and its detached garage are a total loss after a fire late Monday night. The fire happened just after 10 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bellevue Street, according to Bellevue Fire and Rescue. Fire crews arrived at the trailer home to find fire and smoke showing from the outside of the residence. Smoke detectors woke the homeowners who were able to escape safely with one of their dogs. The other dog did not make it out of the home, the fire department said. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire within 30 minutes. No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported, according to the fire department.
