VIDEO: Rhinelander firefighters stared asking people for a favor today: fill their boots. A handful of firefighters set up at the corner of Stevens Street and Highway W for the annual "Fill the Boot" campaign. It benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association's summer camp program. MDA Fundraiser Coordinator Taylor Lodewegen says the Rhinelander Fire Department raises the top ten most money in the state. "They are an awesome partner for the MDA. And they have essentially sent about 63 kids to summer camp. So they are awesome," said Lodewegen. Last year, Rhinelander collected about $15,000.
