VIDEO: First responders in Appleton have a new tool to use when dealing with children during a crisis. As Kris Schuller reports it's called a Reach Bag - designed to comfort those kids that emergency responders often care for. Outside the Appleton Police Department, first responders accept a special gift. Armloads of backpacks called "Reach Bags", each filled with books to help comfort kids during crisis situations. “Pretty cool stuff in the bag stuff, we've got books not only good for some young teens - but also younger children,” said Sgt. Dave Lund of the Appleton Police Department.
