VIDEO: A fire started around 8:00 p.m. Monday at a home on Blackberry Court. Three people were inside when the fire started and all got out safely. Firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly, containing it to the garage. Officials have a preliminary idea of what caused the blaze. "In talking to the home owner it sounds like some ashes were put into a garbage can a couple of days ago that he thought were out and cool," said SAFER Deputy Chief Josh Finke. "But it appears that that may have started the fire." Though there was some smoke damage in the home, Finke believes the family will not be displaced.
