A 23-year-old Kronenwetter man charged with setting fire to a four-stall garage at the apartment where he lived is behind bars on $25,000 cash bond. Tyler Atkinson was arrested at the scene. Kronenwetter Police Chief Terry McHugh said the damage is likely around $100,000. First responders were called to the Timber Creek apartment complex, off of Kronenwetter Drive, around 2:30 a.m. Monday. Crews from several departments were able to contain the fire to the garage. But its contents were destroyed including a brand new pick-up truck. "I just woke up and got a knock on the door, and I saw it burning down," said tenant Harrison Widdes, who's 2-week-old truck was inside the garage. "My heart sank a little bit, naturally, but as for what happened I don't know."
