The remains of an 84-year-old woman were found Thursday inside a home that burned near Tomahawk. A caller reported a possible structure fire southwest of Tomahawk, in the Lincoln County town of Bradley. at 12:14 p.m. Thursday, according to officials. Firefighters and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene on Robin Lane and found a fire had started inside of the home possibly during the previous 24 hours and had extinguished itself, according to police. Firefighters found the remains of the home's only occupant inside, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department. The fire was discovered by a family member who had gone there to check on the woman.
