A person was found dead inside a burning enclosed porch at a home on 14th Avenue early Tuesday. The Kenosha Police and the Kenosha Fire Department are investigating the fire, which was reported at about 5 a.m. Tuesday. When firefighters arrived at the tiny, 360-square-foot home, 7732 14th Ave., they found the enclosed porch engulfed in flames, according to Fire Chief Charles Leipzig. He said firefighters quickly got the blaze under control. When they did, they found the body inside the porch. Leipzig said the fire appears to have started on the porch near where the person’s body was found. He said he did not know if the dead person was a man or woman.
