VIDEO: A man already serving prison time for an armed robbery in Eau Claire struck a plea bargain with prosecutors on burglary and arson charges. Davy Cole is accused of burglarizing three Verizon stores in Eau Claire, as well as a Sprint PCS store and a T-Mobile store in 2017. He is also charged with soliciting a minor to start two house fires to distract police during the burglaries. As part of a plea deal reached Thursday, Cole will plead guilty to two burglary counts in exchange for seven other charges being dropped. The state is recommending a sentence of five years in prison. A sentencing date has been scheduled for August 22.
