VIDEO: Even though winter is months away, Milwaukee firefighters are thinking about keeping kids warm. Firefighters were out collecting donations to support ‘Warm Up Winter, a Kids Coats Initiative" on Thursday. The three-day fundraising campaign raises money to provide kids in the community with warm outerwear in the winter months. In 2017, the campaign raised $118,000, allowing the Milwaukee Fire Department to buy 6,000 coats for kids. Those looking to help can donate at their nearest fire station on Friday and Saturday from 2:00-6:00 p.m.
