Shed, tractor total loss after town of Oconto fire

Oconto Fire and Rescue responded Saturday evening to a shed on fire in the town of Oconto. Crews were dispatched just after 5 p.m. to to 6853 Elm Grove School Road, and found a single-story building approximately 500 feet off the road, which was fully engulfed, with its roof collapsed, according to the department. Five engines, three water tenders, one ambulance, one rescue truck, two brush trucks and one command vehicle and approximately 30 firefighters from the area responded to this emergency. Departments assisting were from Oconto Falls Fire, Little River Fire, Pensaukee Fire. Oconto County Sherriff’s Department assisted with traffic control. The fire is under investigation at this time, the department said in a news release. The building, along with a tractor, was a total loss.
