VIDEO: One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into an apartment building Sunday morning on the city's east side. Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue personnel responded about 8:40 a.m. to Golfview Estate Apartments, 265 Whispering Springs Drive, where they found a four-door car crashed into a first-floor apartment, according to the department. The driver was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. The occupant of the apartment was not hurt.
