VIDEO: The Stratford Area Fire Department honored and celebrated Chief Bill Griesbach, who retired Wednesday after 32 years with the department. "When Stratford Fire Department became Stratford Area Fire Department, that was 32 years ago. When they started is when I started," said Bill Griesbach, the retiring fire chief. Thirty-two years as a volunteer firefighter with the Stratford Area Fire Department, and the last 10 as Chief, Griesbach is officially retiring from fighting fires. "You think back now, in the last 32 years what all happened, how times have changed. You think of the fire runs that you did, the accidents that you went to," said Griesbach. Some of the most memorable fires just in recent weeks.
