A man was arrested for arson near the east side of Madison early Wednesday morning. Two parked trucks were set on fire in front of a house on Jacobson Avenue just after 4:30 a.m., according to the Madison Police Department. The 51-year-old homeowner discovered accelerants had been poured near the front of his house. The man told police of ongoing issues with 34-year-old Joseph H. Woods, who was arrested for arson and attempt to commit arson.
