The Beaver Dam Fire Department is seeking teens to learn more about what it takes to be a firefighter and an EMT. Personnel from the department were on hand this week at Beaver Dam High School seeking out the next generation of those wanting to join the ranks of firefighters and EMTs/paramedics. The department was recruiting for its Explorer program over the lunch hour in the commons area of the school. Explorers is a scouting organization for teenagers who are age 14 to 18 who want learn about firefighting and EMS practices at Beaver Dam Fire Station.
