VIDEO: Fire crews battled a garage fire in Marathon County early Monday morning. The Athens and Edgar fire department responded to a call around 1 a.m. off of hwy M in Athens. Officials said when they arrived the garage was engulfed. The flames were about 14 to 15 ft high, destroying the garage. Next to it was a trailer home which also caught on fire. However, firefighters said only the north end was damaged. No one was hurt and no one was home during the time.
