VIDEO: Multiple units responded to a fire at Morningside Drive in Janesville on Wednesday night. A manager for a nearby apartment complex said that gas and electric was shut down in the area. According to officials, no one was injured and residents who live in the building said everyone is accounted for. The fire reportedly started on the patio of a ground-level unit in the apartment complex. A passerby was the first to notice the fire and called 911 before any further damage was done. Viewers said that the fire smell was strong and that the area surrounding Morningside Drive was smokey. Police said they don't yet have a cause of the fire. Officials are still on the scene with firefighters to make sure that no flare-ups happen.
